Project’s Brief
Rehabilitation of Al-Mansorai market which consist of the following components
Buildings:
The project consists of 7 buildings blocks as follows:
. Three vegetable block,.
. Two fish blocks.
. Two meet blocks.
. Commercial shops, in the mid area, with total built up area 440.8 m2
· Total built up area of the buildings blocks is 2224.6 m2 ,
· Workshops , with total area 45.2 m2
· Administrative, with total area 58.4 m2.
· Public W.C. with total area 53.5 m2
· Fast food restaurant. with total area 120.5 m2
· Commercial shops , with total area 116 m2
· Qat shops., with total area 164.8 m2
· Stores, with total area 73.6 m2.
Utilities:
· Complete water supply network for the market and the other activities.
· Waste water and sanitation network and waste water treatment plant.
· Power and electrical.
· Redesign of existing car parking and traffic flow surrounding market's area.
· Water storm drainage system.
Landscape and fence:
· Pavement and hard landscape.
· External lighting system.
Scope of Service
· Conduct site visits to inspect the condition and the capacity of the existing utilities.
· Perform visual traffic account, helping in conducting a traffic survey for the following:
a. Vehicular traffic, b. Pedestrian traffic, c. Assess parking needs.

· Study the urban design.
. Prepare three conceptual designs including the following:
. Proposed physical and schematic layouts and the functional distribution
. The future pattern of use of space within and outside market building
· Description of key architectural and structural features.
· Calculate the estimates of the future demands for each infrastructure system
· Prepare Final conceptual design report
· Prepare the final version of the existing support infrastructure report,
· Prepare the draft final report of the vacant lots in adjacent areas to markets.
