Construction, equipping, and furnishing of the student housing project at Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan University in Khost State, Afghanistan, is nearing completion. The HS International for Engineering Consultants/UAE project team is actively preparing for the initial handover and official opening.
The student housing project consists of a four-story building with a total area of 4,812 m², accommodating 636 students. This project was funded by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works and implemented by Sambros Afghan International Company. The contractor began work on July 15, 2018, with an initial contract period of 24 months. However, the timeline was extended due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
