Concept Design of A Strip Mall - Riyadh

Project’s Brief
We started the design by identifying the talents and assets within the community. The goal was to create a vital place rather than static space, physical elements were introduced to make people welcome and comfortable, such as seating and new landscaping. The goal is to create a place that has both a strong sense of community and a comfortable shape. Also we combine tradition and modernity in order to create a different composition attracts attention and reflects a refined image of semi-open business communities.

The project consists of 40 shops distributed in the project as follows:

• 28 shops with an average area of 60 square meters with dimensions of 10 meters length and 6 meters width concentrated in the main middle block on two floors.

• 9 restaurants with an average area of 190 square meters and average dimensions of 16 meters length and 12 meters width and divided into 3 main and 6 small ones on the front and rear elevations along the streets.

• 3 cafes with an average area of 96 square meters and the average dimensions of 16 meters length and 6 meters width concentrated on the front elevation close to the pedestrian walkways.

• In addition to vertical circulation by using elevators and escalators and escape stairs.
