Project brief:
The objective is to undertake a diagnostic study of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME) active in the manufacturing sector in Hodeidah, developing a strategy to strengthen these SME and their linkages to the sector, and establishing an SME business center/complex in Hodeidah to accommodate new and expanding workshops and small-scale industry, and facilitate their growth and contribution to the Hodeidah manufacturing sector supply chain and small and medium workshops the project consisted in details the following : 

 

1. SME center (administrative building)consist of two floors with about 2800 MSQ

2. Small and medium workshops, designed in modules, and consisted of (8) types, the building are steel structure with all basic MEP services .

3. All facilities and services building such as fire station, GAS station , commercial center, public stores, post office ….etc.

4. Complete study and design services for the inner roads including conceptual, preliminary to final design.

Scope of Service

 

1. Evaluate the physical feasibility of establishing an SME Business Center in Hodeidah for selected businesses likely to use such facilities (new businesses and existing ones seeking to expand or in search for better facilities).  This includes:

2. Identification of site(s) for the proposed facility; 

3. Design the inner roads in the SME centers 

4. Delineation of scope for any necessary on and off-site infrastructure improvements:
